Third Draft

this is my third but not final draft, i dislike the font of the masthead, I feel it does not fit into the Genre that well I also believe that it does not give the feeling of a rock magazine.

The main image is too bright for the genre I'm aiming for and the patterned design doesn't fit well either, because of this I feel i may change the image around and swap it for another one or at least darken the current image.

the colour scheme I feel went well together but I am not so sure that it fits well into the genre and some if the colors are not uniform or eye catching, and so this could distract the readers audience from the magazines content.

this is my second front cover draft.

first draft

This front cover draft is of poor quality and so I think I will do a redraft of it i Believe that the front cover needs a new image because the one that i have used does not show the iconography associated to the genre, the font of the masthead is very large and is in front of the model and gets in the way of the model, I believe that I can change the image to one with more light because this one does not have enough light and so makes the background of the artist appear yellow.
the colours used are very basic and blocked in and so are obtrusive of the image and make it appear to be more basic, and makes the magazine look unprofessional.

this is one of the footage results of the behind the scenes, this was taken during the practice shoot. the practice shoot. The practice photoshoot was good because it allowed me to experiment with lighting conditions and see what worked well, the practice shoot also helped my to decide on who I was going to use in my magazine. by doing the practice shoot I could get ideas to what costumes could be used for my genre and what props would compliment the costumes.

this would also help me to see what worked well together.
